Welcome to TMCSC

Thurgood Marshall College Student Council is the student representative body of Marshall College. It is our duty to ensure that your voice as a Marshall student is heard in various TMC and all-campus organizations.

We work to fulfill the Thurgood Marshall College philosophy of the "scholar and citizen" by collaborating with Marshall organizations to provide cultural, educational, and social events for Marshall students and increasing student awareness and involvement in our diverse and active community. Thus, we hope to develop active leaders and connect students to the various opportunities that Marshall College has to offer.

We invite you to participate in TMCSC's discourse and governance of student life here at Thurgood Marshall College by attending our weekly meetings on Thursdays at 6:30 PM in Fireside Lounge Conference Room A, located in the Marshall Lowers. Also, for more information, find us on Facebook.

TMCSC meets each Thursday at 6:30pm in Fireside Lounge Conference Room A..

Student Organizations

Thurgood Marshall College offers you an opportunity to grow, to learn, to challenge yourself and your view of the world, to reach out to and express solidarity with others, and to become an active and engaged member of a community, not just a passive observer.

The variety of possibilities assures finding a group where you can contribute your experiences and develop your skills (not to mention your résumé). Your participation and involvement are critical to our collective success.

Marshall Student Organization Descriptions can be found under Student Organizations.

If you are interested in joining a Marshall Org, contact any of the active student organizations listed at the top left of this page.

Some Student Organizations listed in the descriptions page do not have student leadership this year. However, funding and resources for any of these organizations are readily available if potential student leaders wish to take on the prestigious role of leading it. Contact that organization's listed supervisor for further questions.
